Providers may use different disclosed backlink methods, including automated, paid, temporary, or provider-owned placements. VCL verifies the contracted DR outcome and enforces authorization, truthful disclosure, and platform conduct.

Does higher DR guarantee better Google rankings?

No. DR is an Ahrefs metric, not a Google ranking factor. It is widely used as a comparative measure of backlink-profile strength, but the bounty guarantees only the funded DR outcome.

When does the 30-day period begin?

After an assigned provider accepts a fresh Ahrefs baseline. The value shown before purchase is indicative; the accepted fresh value becomes the contractual baseline.

How is success validated?

The first scheduled target hit must happen by the work deadline. The result then needs three qualifying scheduled observations in distinct daily slots within seven days.

Do I need an existing VCL project?

No. You can begin with an eligible custom domain. If VCL finds a matching project that you own, you can link it to the contract.

What happens if nobody takes the bounty?

If no eligible provider is assigned within the seven-day marketplace window, VCL refunds the full Growth Bounty charge.
